Several years ago, my car's engine had an oil leak. I took it to a mechanic to determine exactly what was leaking. "It's your valve cover gasket." I see. "Is that something I could replace myself?" He replied with a strange look on his face, "Sure but why would you want to?" I looked up at him and smiled. "Because I can." And so, the next weekend with some wrenches and a brand new valve cover gasket, I replaced it. It was super neat to peer inside the engine and check out the pistons in their chambers. I imagined each one going a gazillion miles an hour pumping up and down exploding the fuel. Kinda reminded me of something I really enjoy.
